Ahh… family gatherings.
A couple of conversations I’d like to remember from the day:
“Have you seen Fox’s bike? It’s one of them there nice special ones”
“Oh really? No I haven’t seen it… does it have thin tyres and one of those seats that checks for hemorrhoids?”
“Dad, are books by Dan Brown a good read?
“Yeah, I like them, they’re easy reading”
“they’re really thick books”
“yes but there’s not a lot of writing them – the margins are really fat which makes the paragraphs look thin, same principle with your mothers ass”
“Mum.. how do you spell your name again?”
