Best Decorated TeePee and Desert On A Plate Despite jumping up and down with excitement wishing I could enter with my own creations Cam was less than enthusiastic to start [...]

I found these two videos on Vimeo this morning and I wanted to share them. The first is a recording of Weezer (by Dave Allen) hosting an event in Portland, Oregon where they have invited loads of local musicians to play along with them. This is a video of them doing a cover of Radioheads [...]

My friend Cedric has teamed up with a friend named Paul Jackson to do the Mongol Rally. That’s right Paul has voluntarily decided to put himself in a 23year old 970cc engined vehicle to drive 10,000 miles from London to Mongolia with Cedric, a Frenchman. I was reading the BBC News website this morning when I came across this article: “Television adverts often appear louder than the preceding programmes. Why does this happen and will a tightening of the law make any difference?” Apparently over the last couple of years Ofcom, the communications regulators in the UK, have received hundreds [...]

I’ve just been playing with this face transformer widget: http://morph.cs.st-andrews.ac.uk/Transformer/ Basically you upload a photo of yourself: And then you choose from the drop down list of potential faces to see what you’d look like in a range of different races and styles. I’m not sure what made me click on 50% Chimp but f*ck [...]

The poppy fields are finally in full bloom and in my opinion there are few things more breathtaking than these massive fields of scarlet red flowers. So I did what any sane person would do – positioned my scooter in front of them for a photo or two.

I noticed they had ‘squid tubes’ on the fresh fish market in town so I bought one. It resembled a hat belonging to a Klu Klux Klan member without the eye holes. Measuring about 6″ in length and about 3″ across, I figured I’d cut it into rings and fry it in sweet chili sauce [...]
