However I titled the post, 'Politically Retarded' before I finished writing it because it pointed at my limited knowledge of politics.. this changed a bit during writing but I left it because I felt it pertained to our Politically Retarded situation in the UK. I don't refer to people with special needs as retards or retarded and I don't cringe when I use the terms fire retardant or retarded growth so I don't associate it as an offensive word.
